iSunArcher Launches!

SunArcher has officially launched a version of our Web site that is optimized for the iPhone and other mobile devices.

Less graphics-intense and easy on the eyes, iSunArcher is now available for those on the go who wish to check out one of the hottest photographers in the Ark-La-Tex. We will be adding specialized information and specials for owners of the iPhone and other mobile devices in the near future. Stay tuned!

In Memoriam

I won't say very many words. All five of the B-52 crewmembers from Barksdale who perished in the incident in Guam in late July came through one of the classes that I instructed. I know their faces. Their names. Their personalities. And I will miss them. And for them, I offer this small token of my appreciation and my grief.

Sunset in Shreveport...

A familiar face returns to the front of the SunArcher lens. Brittany Danielle was the subject for my latest shoot. On this shoot, I joined forces with Storm Surge Photography, who likes natural/available light settings and shots.

We began the shoot around 8 pm to get a nice sunset as a backdrop while still holding some blue in other parts of the sky. With Downtown Shreveport providing the backdrop, I tested lighting techniques, ISO settings, and aperture settings to see what effect would be obtained with certain settings. I also began my first foray into available light and black-and-white photography.

SunArcher is now rocking the new iPhone from AT&T!

Upgrading from the Blackberry 8700c, SunArcher's move to the innovative iPhone will also result in a Web site change to specifically accommodate mobile devices, especially the iPhone. Stay tuned...
